CHESTER, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Track & Field was back at Widener University over the weekend and posted some strong results.
Swarthmore's
Lilly Price took the win in the 1,500-meters, completing the race in 4:37.20 and edging the runner-up from Johns Hopkins University by 0.68 seconds.
In the 5,000,
Jillian Haywood finished 10th overall with a time of 18:25.65.
Claire Conley came in fifth in the shot put, but her throw of 12.15m is the third-furthest in the Centennial Conference this season.
Freshman
Maya Zimmerman launched the javelin 34.41m which the seventh furthest in the Centennial so far.
Swarthmore continues the spring season at the Penn Relays this weekend.
