The Muhlenberg men's and women's tennis teams closed out the 2019 season at Franklin & Marshall. The men dropped their match 7-2, while the women fell 9-0.
Â
The men, who began the day with a mathematical chance at a playoff spot, earned both of their points in doubles play. The Mules' top pairing of sophomore
Jason Grant and junior
Noah Sellinger claimed an 8-3 win over the Diplomats' top doubles team. In the third flight, sophomores
Eli Taylor-Kerman and
Adam Kronick went to a tiebreak, ultimately taking the match 8-7 (7-3).
Â
The third doubles match wasn't the only one to need a tiebreak, with Grant
(pictured above) taking the first set of the third singles tilt to one before falling 7-6 (7-4), 6-3.
