OBERLIN, Ohio – The Ursinus Women's Cross Country team competed in the Inter-Regional Border Battle at Oberlin College on Saturday morning in their final race before Centennial Championships.
The Bears faced a loaded field consisting of 12 regionally ranked and five nationally ranked schools and finished 13th in the 32-team field.
Senior
Rachel Conhoff led the Bears once again by posting a 6k season best time of 22:38.2 and finished 13th overall in the field consisting of 282 runners. Senior
Holly Chambers followed Conhoff by placing second among Bears runners and 37th overall on her time of 23:21.9. Sophomore
Samantha Grubb recorded a 6k personal best time of 24:31.0 and finished third between the Ursinus runners (104th overall).
Sophomore
Ryann Wauthier finished fourth among Bears runners and 113th overall with her time of 24:44.3 while junior
Brooke Adams followed with her time of 24:52.2 to finish fifth in the Ursinus runner field. First-year
Mia Sideris topped her personal best set a week ago at DeSales with her mark of 25:18.0, placing sixth between the Bears runners. Senior
Jenna Lozzi finished just behind Sideris on her time of 25:19.6.
Junior
Maggie Stalter (25:57.7), sophomore
Meghan Carroll (26:11.7), and first-year
Kirra Norling (26:30.1) rounded out the Bears runners at Oberlin.
Ursinus has a week off before returning to action at the 2022 Centennial Conference Championships on Saturday, October 29th at Haverford College that will begin at 11:00 a.m.
