ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa.—Swarthmore College Golf returned to the links on Saturday and Sunday at the McDaniel Invitational at Bridges Golf Club. The Garnet tied for eighth of 18 teams with a two-day total of 642 (+66) on the par-72, 6,713-yard course.

Michael Chen and Vamsi Damerla finished tied for 15th with 157s. Chen carded a 78 on Saturday and 79 on Sunday while Damerla shot 77 on Saturday and 80 on Sunday. Chen carded four birdies on the weekend while Damerla had two.

Dan Altieri posted 79s on both days to finish tied for 21st. Nick DiMaio shot a 170 and Drew Langan shot a 182.

Franklin & Marshall College won the tournament with a 622 (46), and Gettysburg's Dane Sethre-Hofstad had the lowest individual score (150, +6).

Swarthmore participates in the Eastern Invitational at St. Davids Golf Club on Tuesday.
