HAVERFORD, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Cross Country competed against Division I and III squads at Haverford College in the Main Line Invite on Friday evening.
The Garnet's scoring average for the four-mile run was 21:31.
Vaughn Parts led Swarthmore and finished 42nd overall and had the 28th scoring time with a mark of 20:58.1.
Lucas Heinzerling ran to Swarthmore's second-best time of 21:26.2. Freshman
Brendan Penfold came in third for the team with a time of 21:30.9.
Kevin Hudson clocked in at 21:37.2 for the Garnet's fourth-best time, and freshman
John Duarte posted Swarthmore's fifth score at 22:00.9.
The Garnet's next meet is at Lehigh University on Sept. 29 for the Paul Short Meet.
