CARLISLE, Pa. – The Gettysburg College men's swimming captured six events en route to a 114-90 victory at Dickinson in Centennial Conference (CC) action Wednesday evening.
The Bullets (7-1, 4-1 CC) opened the meet with a victory in the 200-medley relay, as sophomore
Jeff Ragatz (Brookfield, Conn./Brookfield), sophomore
Adam Dias (Wilmington, Del./Charter School of Wilmington), freshman
Aedan Collins (Westfield, N.J./Westfield), and senior
Ty Dougherty (West Chester, Pa./Salesianum School [Del.]) won by over a second (1:39.51).
Gettysburg followed up with four individual victories, starting with freshman
Harrison McCool (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) in the 200-freestyle (1:49.33). Dougherty then prevailed in the 50-freestyle (21.49) before Collins fronted a 1-2-3 Bullet sweep in the 100-freestyle (48.65). Freshman
Brian Berry (Canton, Conn./Canton) was second in 49.55 while McCool was third in 50.51.

Duncan Proxmire (McLean, Va./Langley) added a victory in the 500-freestyle (4:55.51), with sophomore
Josh Parker (Millington, N.J./Watchung Hills) taking second in the same event (4:58.85).
In the final event of the night, Collins, freshman
Jack Edelson (Charlotte, N.C./Providence Senior), junior
Parker Sorenson (Evergreen, Colo./home-schooled), and Dougherty swam to victory by over two seconds (1:27.97).
Gettysburg closes out its dual-meet schedule on Saturday at 1 p.m., when it takes on Centennial Conference foe Franklin & Marshall on Senior Day.
