CARLISLE, Pa. -- Despite a balanced scoring attack from its nine players, Swarthmore College Women's Basketball lost to Dickinson College 77-45 on Saturday afternoon.
The Garnet fell behind 18-6 at the end of the first quarter but bounced back to win the second quarter 9-8 behind impressive defense. However, they got beat by 18 in the third quarter and couldn't overcome the 29-point deficit entering the fourth.
Freshman forward
Karinna Papke led Swarthmore with nine points. She's averaging 10 points over the last three games.
Sophomore forward
Kendall Tribus had a game-high 10 rebounds. This was the second time this season she's reached double-digit boards in a game this season as she grabbed a career-high 12 against McDaniel College on Jan. 5.
Junior guard
Christina Holmgren chipped in with a season-high eight points on 4-of-5 shooting, and freshman forward
Erin Cronin had eight as well.
Swarthmore's last game of the season is on Wednesday at Haverford College. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
