Meet Highlights
- The Bullets kicked off the evening with a bang, setting a new program standard and just missing an NCAA "B" cut in the 200 free relay. Freshman Sarah Fravel (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove), Kosko, Wasson, and Crilly sped home in 1:36.88 with Crilly blazing to the wall in 23.58 in the final leg. Dickinson also set a program record (1:38.89) on the way to a runner-up showing.
- Wojnar led a 1-2-3 finish in the 500 free with a time of 5:08.59. The sophomore led from start-to-finish to edge first-year Lauren Manning (West Hartford, Conn./Conard) by less than two seconds. Manning finished in 5:10.28 with classmate Grace Bobeck (Allentown, Pa./Salisbury) finishing third in 5:14.99.
- Senior Katie Idank (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial) took the lead in the 200 IM after a strong effort in the breaststroke, but Haley Muth from Susquehanna and Katelyn Boyce from Messiah overtook the senior in the last 50 yards.
- Gettysburg dominated the 50 free race with eight swimmers finishing among the top 12. Crilly slipped in front of her own school record by one-hundredth of a second at 23.93. Kosko took second with a personal best time of 24.60.
- The Bullets just missed another school record in the 400 medley relay, finishing 1.27 seconds off the four-year old mark with a time of 3:55.65. Wasson led the relay with a 58.56 time in the backstroke, which marks the second-best time through 100 yards in program history. Sophomore Katie Cooper (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan), freshman Elissa Clancy (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield), and Crilly wrapped up the race just ahead of another program record-breaking performance by runner-up Dickinson (3:57.10).
