LEWISBURG, Pa. – Nine members of the Gettysburg College women's track and field team were in action Saturday and Sunday at the Bison Outdoor Classic, hosted by Bucknell University.
The highly-competitive meet featured a mix of athletes from Division I, II, and III as well as unattached competitors.
Most of the Bullets competed on Sunday, including four who ran the 800. Leading the way was junior
Sarah Rinehart (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty), who placed second out of 12 runners in her heat and 55th out of 128 overall competitors. She was clocked at 2:21.96 – a personal record by nearly five seconds which also ranks her ninth in school history in the event. In her heat, Rinehart finished behind only Jessica Jones of Division II Indiana (Pa.). In addition, Rinehart competed in the 1,500 on Saturday and finished 103rd in 5:04.19.
Also in the 800, sophomore
Hailey Moseman (Longmeadow, Mass./Longmeadow) came in 66th with a time of 2:23.20, junior
Danielle DeMichael (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) placed 109th in 2:29.52, and junior
Paige Wesolowski (Groveland, Mass./Pentucket Regional) was 123rd in 2:35.99.
Moseman and Wesolowski competed in two events apiece on Sunday. Moseman also placed 23rd in the 400-meter hurdles (1:08.17) while Wesolowski took 42nd in the 400-meter dash (1:04.57).

Sarah Congdon (Sewell, N.J./Clearview Regional), who placed 11th in the 400-hurdles (1:05.89), sophomore
Abigail Rec (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) West Morris Central), who came in 12th in the 400-dash (1:06.23), and senior
Mikaela Collins (Attleboro, Mass./Bishop Feehan), who was 25th in the shot put (38-7 3/4). Collins also participated in the discus on Saturday and took 27th in 118-8.
On Saturday, freshman
Michelle O'Malley (Locust, N.J./Red Bank Catholic) came in 28th in the 5,000-meter run (19:02.12) while sophomore
Catherine Dobensky (Shelton, Conn./Lauralton Hall) took 52nd in 19:51.98 in the same event.
The Bullets compete in their lone home meet of the season on Saturday with the Gettysburg Mason-Dixon Invitational.
