The Diplomats opened the 2022 campaign with a 2-1 victory over Lebanon Valley. Philip Monos sent his second shot of the game into the back of the net to put F&M up 1-0 in the 16th minute of play. LVC evened the score in the 49th minute, but Michael Desmond making his first collegiate appearance scored the game-winning goal in the 61st minute of play to give F&M a 2-1 lead. Sam Farrell was a force in net, making six saves in the victory. Monos led the Diplomats with five shots and three shots on goal.

F&M faced a tough challenge in facing Stevens Sunday evening. The Diplomat defense kept the game scoreless through one half of play, however allowed three goals in the final 45 minutes of play. Jack Nury and Koa Kaliebe each tallied a shot on goal in the match.

Kean is coming off of wins to Centenary (Nj.) and Brooklyn College. The Cougars opened the season with a 1-0 win over CU before defeating BC 7-0 Saturday night.
