BATH, Pa. – Freshman
Daniel Rieger (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) carded a 2-over 73 to capture medalist honors for the Gettysburg College men's golf "B" team on Thursday at the Moravian Fall Invitational, held at Southmoore Golf Course.

Rieger tied for first with Sean Sigall of Rutgers-Camden, but was awarded the title by winning a card comparison of the back nine, where Rieger fired an even-par 35. For the afternoon, Rieger birdied two holes and parred 11 others.

As a team, the Bullets shot a 324 to finish third among 12 schools. Moravian won with a 307 while Rutgers-Camden was second with a 317.

Freshman
Jimmy Harcourt (Fanwood, N.J./Scotch Plains Fanwood) was Gettysburg's second finisher, placing in a four-way tie for seventh among 59 golfers with a 79. Completing the team score were freshman
Matt Bornstein (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield), who shot a 84 to tie for 23rd in his collegiate debut, and junior
Jeremy Haas (Scotch Plains, N.J./Scotch Plains-Fanwood), who posted an 88 to tie for 38th. Sophomore
Ethan Murphy (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) also competed and tied for 42nd with an 89.

Gettysburg picks up its schedule on Saturday and Sunday, when it competes at the McDaniel Mason-Dixon Classic, held at The Bridges Golf Club in Abbottstown, Pa.
