THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg placed four runners in the top 50 of the White Race at the 48th Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh. The Bullets placed sixth as a team with 234 points.
THE LEADERS

Amanda Addesso (Cheshire, Conn./Cheshire) led the Bullets with a 38th-place showing, crossing the line in a time of 23:18.4. She improved 26 places from the two-mile mark to the 6,000-meter finish. It was a personal-best 6K time for the senior.
FOR THE FOES
• Widener took first place in the 41-team section with 64 points.
• Sonoma State's Gianna Bomarito won the individual title with a time of 20:52.9.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Eliza Hoover (Mahwah, N.J./Academy of the Holy Angels) placed 41st overall with a time of 23:21.7.
•
Ava Crawford (Swarthmore, Pa./Strath Haven) finished 48th with a time of 23:32.1.
•
Amy Cantrell (Hailey, Idaho/Wood River) crossed 48th in the field with a time of 23;32.1.
•
Kathryn Hopkins (Taneytown, Md./Winters Mill) was 61st in a time of 23:42.2.
•
Carys Cook (Fairfield, Conn./Laurelton Hall) placed 82nd in a time of 24:02.4.
•
Sarah Smith (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) finished 131st with a time of 24:52.5, knocking 30 seconds off her time from last week.
•
Claira Royce (Russell, N.Y./Hugh C. Williams) turned in a time of 25:06.5 to place 146th.
•
Rachel Fischler (Avon, Conn./Avon) and
Abbey Woodcome (Hudson, Mass./Hudson) rounded out the Bullet competitors in 151st (25:09.8) and 188th (25:41.1) places, respectively.
THE INSIDE STORY
• A total of 327 runners completed at the 6,000-meter distance.
•
Amanda Addesso was the fourth different Gettysburg runner to run in the top spot in four races this fall.
• The Bullets are ranked fifth in the Mid-Atlantic Region by the USTFCCA and was the top finishing team from the region in the White Race and second Division III team overall.
