Kathrin O'Brien (Lynchburg, Va./Virginia Episcopal School) placed 19th out of 56 runners to lead the Gettysburg College women's cross country team under the lights at the Shippensburg University Galen Piper Challenge Friday night.

The Finish Line
- O'Brien cruised the 4,000-meter course in 16:40.3 to lead the Bullets with a 19th place showing.
- Cantrell was right behind her classmate to take 20th in 16:41.9.
- Also figuring into the team score were sophomore Ashlyn Booher (Boling Springs, Pa./Boling Springs), who took 25th in 17:03.4, freshman Amanda Addesso (Cheshire, Conn./Cheshire), who placed right behind in 26th in 17:11.8), and senior Leah Hill (Media, Pa./Penncrest), who was 31st in 17:29.7.
- Finishing as displacers were freshmen Rachel Nori (Avon, Conn./Avon) (42nd, 18:00.3) (23:10) and classmate Emma Dieterle (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) (47th, 18:38.8).
