Faith Nation with 5:28 remaining in the third quarter. However, Swarthmore ultimately lost 76-57.
Garnet freshman guard
Kim Kockenmeister had a career-high 14 points to lead her team on Tuesday night. She made both of her free-throw attempts and leads the team shooting 79 percent from the line on 62 attempts this season. Junior guard
Elizabeth Stiles had 12 points, and freshman forward
Karinna Papke had 11 to round out Swarthmore's double-digit scorers. Stiles remains the team's leader in points at 8.8 per game, and Papke had a team-high four rebounds against the Blue Jays.
Swarthmore was unable to stymie the Johns Hopkins offense as the Blue Jays shot a season-best 50.8 percent from the field in the game. Hopkins made eight threes and shot 42.1 percent from deep.
Junior
Christina Holmgren led the Garnet with a career-high five assists. She also added two blocks, two rebounds and a steal.
Swarthmore's next game is its final home game of the season. The Garnet play Bryn Mawr on Thursday at 7 p.m. in a rematch of a game that they won at the Owls 70-59 on Dec. 5.
