Despite very windy conditions, the Muhlenberg track and field teams registered several fine performances at Moravian's Coach P Invitational.
Three members of the women's team bettered their rankings on the all-time performance list.
Freshman Rashida Haye ran a 16.02 in the prelims of the 100 hurdles and a 15.97 in the final to place seventh. Both were huge improvements on her previous best of 16.32 and moved her from ninth to seventh on the performance list.
Junior
Jessica Pearse, who ranks sixth in the javelin, added nine inches to her personal best, throwing 110-5 in her season debut. Senior
Claudia Theriault, who already appears on the performance list in the pole vault (second), entered the long jump top 10 in ninth place with a leap of 16-3.
Senior
Michelle Gaykowski won the discus for the second time in three meets this season, posting an ECAC-qualifying mark. Junior
Mallory Snyder (pictured above left) came in second in the steeplechase.
The top finisher for the men's team was junior
Anthony Calantoni, who came in second in his second 800 race in less than 24 hours - he was among three Muhlenberg runners who competed at Princeton on Friday night.
Junior
Anthony Ware placed fifth in the 100 meters in an ECAC- and IC4A-qualifying time of 10.98 seconds - seven hundredths off his personal best. Senior
Patrick Bell (pictured above right) in the 800 and sophomore
Erik Berger in the discus also posted fifth-place finishes.
The Mule teams combined for 30 Centennial Conference championship qualifiers.
