The combination of scoring the first five goals and holding Lebanon Valley without a shot for the first 10 minutes fueled a 12-7 win for the Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team.

Lauren Sammarro and seniors
Emma Carmody and
Amanda Tullo with a pair of goals of her own in helping the Mules (4-2) jump out to a 5-0 lead midway through the opening half. The defense did its part, allowing just three shots over the first 14:45 of the game, while forcing five turnovers.
After trailing 6-2 at halftime, the Dutchmen (3-5) scored the first goal of the second half to pull within three but wouldn't get any closer.
Carmody found the back of the net twice on the day bringing her season total to 14 goals. In doing so she set a career high, surpassing her previous best of 13 goals set as a sophomore. Carmody has 12 goals in her last four games.
Senior
Erin Duca (pictured above) also scored twice, marking her second two-goal game of the season. Her five goals this season are more than she's scored in her first three seasons combined.
On the defensive end, senior
Morgan Weiss finished one short of her career high in both ground balls and caused turnovers. She picked up a game-high six ground balls and tied for the team lead with junior
Gabriella Crivelli with three caused turnovers. Friedel matched her career-high with four ground balls.
