Anderson hit .536 in seven games (15-of-28) with three extra-base hits and eight RBI. He had multiple hits in each game of the 3-4 week, including three in a 7-6 win vs. Greenville. Anderson had a .679 slugging and a .581 on-base percentage while also stealing three bases. O'Grady hit .462 in eight games (12-of-26) with seven runs scored and 12 RBI. Five of his hits went for extra bases, including four doubles, to give him a .692 slugging percentage. O'Grady was 4-for-4 with a triple and six RBI in a 12-4 win over Pitt-Bradford.

Moore twirled a two-hit shutout with no walks and 10 strikeouts in a 3-0 victory vs. Westfield State.

 

Around the Conference

Dickinson has the best record among Centennial schools at 10-1. Freshman IF Ma Adams (Mount Olive, N.J.) went 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, and six RBI in a 21-4 win over Juniata. Senior C Hank Sanders (Wellsville, Pa.) leads the team in hitting at .351, while OF Ryan Dolan (Plymouth Meeting, Pa.) has a team-high 19 RBI. Senior RHP Ryan Kramer (New Vernon, N.J.) is 2-0 with a 0.47 ERA in three starts, while junior LHP Harley Moore (Deltaville, Va.) and sophomore RHP Matt Cowell (Devon, Pa.) are also 2-0.

Franklin & Marshall senior RHP Alex Guerra (Randolph, N.J.) held Rhodes to just one run and two hits over six innings with eight strikeouts in a 12-2 victory. Senior OF Rob Anderson (Westfield, N.J.) leads the Diplomats with a .489 average and has an 11-game hitting streak.

Gettysburg senior OF Al Posch (Hopedale, Mass.) saw his Conference-record hitting streak snapped at 37 games in the opener against Pitt-Bradford. It was his first game to bat safely since March 23 of last season. Junior RHP Eric Hungerford (New Preston, Conn.) is 2-0 with a 2.16 ERA in three starts. He has limited opponents to a .133 batting average.

Sophomore C Nick Ott (Naples, Fla.) leads Haverford with a .421 batting average. Junior RHP Tommy Bergjans (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) is 2-0 and has not allowed an earned run over 8.2 innings with 14 strikeouts.

Johns Hopkins junior RHP Thomas Harper (Villanova, Pa.) has a 0.00 ERA over five innings with 12 strikeouts in three relief appearances this season. He fanned five UW-Platteville batters in two innings with the game on the line for his first win of the season. Senior C Jonathan Hettleman (Baltimore, Md.) was 5-for-10 with three RBIs vs. Pitt-Bradford and Platteville.

Sophomore C John Lim (Ellicott City, Md.) led Swarthmore to a 5-3 record last week in Florida with a .391 batting average. He had three mutli-hit games and had a three-RBI effort vs. Salve Regina. Classmate Joe Warren (Fairfax Station, Va.) tossed a four-hit shutout vs. Salve with a walk and six strikeouts.

Junior OF Scott Matthews (Goshen, N.Y.) hit .480 with a pair of home runs and four RBI in a 4-3 week for Washington College. He had four multi-hit games, including three-hit performances vs. PSU-Berks and Mt. Aloyisus. Matthews also had a longball with three RBI vs. Southern Virginia. Freshman RHP Tom Mattaini (Lancaster, Pa.) tossed a complete-game four-hitter in a 4-1 win vs. Mount Aloysius.
