Offensive Player of the Week

Nick Palladino, Muhlenberg
Sophomore, QB, 6-0, 204
Millstone Twp., N.J. / Allentown HS

Palladino completed 32 of 44 passes for a career high 375 yards and four touchdowns in the Mules' 41-27 win over Ursinus. It is his third straight game with more than 300 yards passing. His scoring tosses covered 7, 29, 9 and 36 yards.

Defensive Player of the Week

Chris McGrath, Moravian

Senior, DB, 6-0, 193

Flanders, N.J. / Mount Olive HS

McGrath had seven tackles (six solo), picked off a pair of passes and broke up another at the goal line in the Greyhounds' 27-21 win at Juniata. His first pick set up Moravian's game-winning touchdown drive while his second ended the Eagles' final threat at the 15-yard line.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Jimmy McCarthy, Moravian
Junior, 5-9, 158
Bethlehem, Pa. / Liberty HS

McCarthy did a little bit of everything for the Moravian special teams in the 27-21 win at Juniata. As a punter, he called his own number on a fake, taking the snap and running 24 yards for a first down to keep Moravian's first TD drive alive. Later as a holder, he called out of a PAT and scored on a two-point conversion run.

Around the Conference

Dickinson junior RB Cedric Madden (Norristown, Pa.) needs 105 yards against Ursinus to become the first Red Devil to rush for 1,000 yards since Alex Plomaritis in 1992. He could also become the school's first Conference rushing champion since Chris Hughes in 1995. Dickinson will finish with its fifth consecutive under .500 record. Senior QB Cole Ahnell (Rockville, Md.) needs 95 yards to move into second place on the school's career passing list and 256 to reach 4,000 for his career. WR Anders Overhaug (Yarmouth, Maine) has caught 12 passes for 129 yards in the last two games after pulling in 11 aerials in his first seven contests.

Franklin & Marshall did something that no team has done against #7 Johns Hopkins this season in a 33-14 loss. The Diplomats took a 14-10 lead in the third period – the first time the Jays trailed in the second half. Senior WR Jordan Zackery (York, Pa.) needs six catches to set the Centennial career reception mark, currently held by JHU's Dan Wodicka (260). He also needs 28 yards to become the 15th CC receiver to amass 2,500 career yards. Franklin & Marshall travels to Gettysburg on Saturday for the 100th meeting between the two programs.

Gettysburg retained the Little Brown Bucket with a 36-27 victory at Dickinson. It is the first time the Bullets have won back-to-back games against the Red Devils since 1985-86. Senior Zach Miller (Madison, Conn.) threw for 147 yards and two TDs, becoming the fourth Gettysburg QB to go over 4,000 career passing yards (4,021). He also rushed for a career-high 93 yards in the contest. Junior RB Kyle Wigley (Medford, N.J.) posted his third 100-yard game of the season (136). OLB Chris Miller (Manasquan, N.J.) had 10 tackles, a sack and an interception. Gettysburg closes its season at home vs. Franklin & Marshall in the schools' 100th meeting.

Johns Hopkins outscored Franklin & Marshall, 23-0, over the final 19 minutes to move to 9-0 with a 33-14 victory. The win clinched at least a share of the Blue Jays' sixth straight Centennial championship and the Conference's berth to the NCAA playoffs. Hopkins becomes the first team to win 10 Centennial titles since the Conference's inception in 1983. Senior QB Braden Anderson (Great Falls, Va.) ran for one touchdown and threw 59 yards to Bradley Munday (Chagrin Falls, Ohio) for another. Senior DL Michael Rocca (Westwood, N.J.) registered a safety to end the scoring, The JHU seniors improved to 39-4 in their career – the most wins by any class in school history. The Jays has won 20 straight regular season games and are 9-0 for the third time in four season (2011-13).

Juniata came up empty on two late fourth-quarter drives and dropped a 27-21 decision to Moravian. Senior Ward Udinski (Doylestown, Pa.) ran for three TDs, giving him 14 and is one shy of tying the CC single-season record for QBs. He became just the second Centennial QB to rush for over 2,000 yards (2,075) and amass over 10,000 yards of total offense (10,275). Sophomore WR Aaron O'Brien (York, Pa.) caught a season-high 10 passes for 94 yards. A win against rival Susquehanna in the Goal Post Trophy game would give the Eagles back-to-back non-losing seasons for the first time since 2001-02.

McDaniel could not hang onto a 16-10 third-quarter lead and fell to Susquehanna, 24-16. Sophomore QB Matty Callahan (Germantown, Md.) recorded his fifth 200-yard passing game with 262 yards. Nine of his aerials went to senior WR Nick O'Melia (Taneytown, Md.) for 137 yards and a TD. O'Melia and classmate Mike Oliveto (Robesonia, Pa.) are the CC's second-leading tandem with a combined 93 catches for 1,239 yards. Freshman LB Drew Scott (Brick, N.J.) leads all CC rookies with 57 tackles, while Tayahd Campbell (Silver Spring, Md.) is third among rookie RBs with 447 yards.

Moravian secured its first .500 season since 2010 with a 27-21 victory at Juniata. Sophomore QB Mike Hayes (Philadelphia, Pa.) tossed a 15-yard TD pass to classmate Jalen Snyder-Scipio (Pottstown, Pa.) for the game-winning points. Soph RB Chris Negron (Allentown, Pa.) ran for 77 yards and a pair of TDs and has 1,869 career yards – good for 10th on the school's career list. RB Eli Redmond (Laurys Station, Pa.) is second among all Moravian freshmen with 719 rushing yards. DB Chris McGrath (Flanders, N.J.) had a pair of interceptions to lead the defense.

Muhlenberg improved to 8-1 with a 41-27 win over Ursinus on Senior Day. But it was sophomore Nick Palladino (Millstone Twp., N.J.) who stole the day. He completed 32 of 44 passes for 375 yards and four TDs, becoming the first Mule QB with three consecutive 300-yard games. Palladino has thrown for 4,378 yards and 35 TDs against only 10 picks in 20 career games. Senior LB Ian Gimbar (Hellertown, Pa.) broke the school career record for sacks, while PK Connor Winter (Boonton Twp., N.J.) kicked four extra points to break the school mark of 124 in a career. Winter is third in Division III with 14 field goals on the year. RB Max Cepeda (River Edge, N.J.) has rushed for 860 yards and needs 140 to become the second CC freshman to reach 1,000 for a season.

Susquehanna won on the road with a 24-16 come-from-behind win at McDaniel. Senior RB Ian Richardson (Hatfield, Pa.) ran for 113 yards on the ground with a TD while also throwing a scoring pass to FB Pat Murtha (Farmingdale, N.J.). QB Nick Crusco (Oak Ridge, N.J.) has thrown for 1,594 yards this season – the fifth-highest total ever by a Centennial freshman. He needs 19 completions, 21 attempts and three TDs in the season finale vs. Juniata to set Conference single-season rookie marks. Junior LB Jim Barry (Staten Island, N.Y.) had eight tackles to surpass the 100-stop mark for the season (107).

Ursinus dropped its second straight game falling at Muhlenberg, 41-27. Senior QB Kevin Monahan (East Windsor, N.J.) threw for 191 yards and a pair of TD passes to classmate Darius Jones (Lawnside, N.J.). Junior DB Kyle Adkins (Holland, Pa.) finished with a game-high 16 tackles, while DL Steve Ambs (Pottstown, Pa.) had nine stops, including two sacks, and forced two fumbles. Sophomore RB Corey Kelly (Conshohocken, Pa.) has not fumbled in 138 carries this season and has not lost a fumble in 233 career totes (1 fumble).
