Outlook: The Bears were the talk of the town after winning their first five games, including a home victory against Hopkins. But Ursinus could not keep the momentum after the bye, capturing just one of its final five contests. With the return of nine starters on both sides of the ball, much more is expected in Collegeville this season. Garlick led an offense that averaged 386 yards per game - more than any Bear squad since 1999. Gardner and Ragland - the Centennial Rookie of the Year - combined for for 1,232 yards and 16 TDs in the backfield, while Manley, Clifford and Cordozo are veteran receivers. Highland headlines three starters back on the interior line. Anderson and Thomas anchor the defensive front, while McCain is the leader of the LB corps. Gordon is the leader of the secondary. Sleep on Ursinus at your peril.
