LANCASTER, Pa. --- Moravian College senior defensive lineman Nick Tone has been named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Greyhounds' 31-14 win over Juniata College on Saturday at Rocco Calvo Field.

Tone helped the Moravian defense pitch a shutout over the final 40 minutes of action after falling behind 14-6 to the Eagles on Homecoming. Tone recorded eight tackles in the game (four solo and four assist) while making three of the Greyhounds' five sacks in the game. He had a total of three and a half tackles for loss of a total of 18 yards, and he also forced a fumble. Moravian limited Juniata to 213 yards including just 49 on the ground.

LANCASTER, PA – Johns Hopkins senior running back Stuart Walters has been named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Blue Jays' 51-14 win at Gettysburg on Saturday.  This is the first time this season that Walters has been honored, but the third time this season a Johns Hopkins player has earned the award as junior quarterback David Tammaro has been selected twice previously.

Walters touched the ball just seven times in the win over the Bullets, but he turned those seven touches into 179 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns.  He rushed six times for 106 yards and two scores and added a 73-yard touchdown reception to account for his 179-yard performance.  The 106-yard rushing performance marked Walters' seventh career 100-yard rushing day.

With his three overall touchdowns against the Bullets, Walters became just the second Johns Hopkins player and the fourth player in Centennial Conference history to score 50 career touchdowns.  He now sits just one touchdown shy of Andrew Kase's school record of 51 career touchdowns.  Walters also became the fifth player in school history to top 4,000 career all-purpose yards (4,113) in the victory against Gettysburg.

On the year, Walters has rushed for 550 yards (78.6 yards/game) and 10 touchdowns and has 13 receptions for 244 yards and four scores.  His 14 touchdowns this season are tied for the seventh-highest single-season total in school history.
