LANCASTER, PA – For the second time this season, Johns Hopkins junior quarterback David Tammaro (Chantilly, VA/Chantilly) has been named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week.  Tammaro led the Blue Jays to their fourth consecutive win, a 42-12 victory at Franklin & Marshall, on Saturday.

Tammaro was 24-of-34 for 290 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for a career-high 89 yards and another score to account for 379 yards of total offense.  The Blue Jays scored touchdowns on six of seven possessions from late in the first quarter through the middle of the third quarter to put the game away.  Tammaro's 290 passing yards push his school and Centennial Conference-record streak of consecutive 200-yard passing games to 16.

Including the game at F&M, Tammaro is now 138-of-207 (.667) on the year for 1,963 yards with 17 touchdowns against just three interceptions and has also rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns.  He ranks second in the nation in total passing yards, fifth in passing yards per game (327.2), 11th in touchdown passes, sixth in total offense per game (354.8), 19th in pass efficiency (170.5) and 20thin completion percentage.

Junior defensive end Frankie Feaster of the Muhlenberg football team was named Centennial Conference defensive player of the week.

Feaster was in on five tackles in the Mules' 34-14 win at Ursinus, and they were all behind the line of scrimmage. He had two solo sacks, one assisted sack and two assisted tackles for loss, resulting in losses of 17 yards.

Feaster was one of the leaders of a defensive effort that held the Bears to 21 yards on the ground - 175 below their average.

For the season, Feaster leads the CC with seven sacks and is tied for fourth with 8½ tackles for loss.

Muhlenberg (5-0, 5-0) entered the game 10th in Division III against the run, allowing 48.8 yards per game, and lowered that average to 43.2 with its effort against the Bears. Over the last three weeks, the Mules have held their opponents to 69 rushing yards on 86 carries.

The weekly honor is the first for Feaster, but not the first for his family. Older brother John Feaster '17 was named CC player of the week twice as a defensive back.

LANCASTER, Pa.  – For the second time in his career, junior placekicker Justin Geisel (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Country Day) has been tagged the Centennial Conference Special Teams Player of the Week it was announced on Sunday, Oct. 7.

Geisel, who earned weekly laurels from the conference for the first time last fall, tied a program record by knocking four field goals through the uprights during Saturday's win over Juniata College. The junior's kicks covered 31, 38, 24, and 41 yards. He also added three extra-points for a career-high 15 points. Geisel tied the Gettysburg record for field goals made in a game set by Jim Flynn '86 against the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 1984.

Geisel is perfect on field goals (8-8) and extra-point attempts (9-9) and leads the Centennial in made field goals this fall. He has hit seven field goals in the last two games and has connected on nine consecutive three-point tries dating back to last season.

With four games remaining on the season, Geisel is four field goals shy of tying the team's single-season record held by Flynn and Josh Huson '09. He is also just four shy of Huson (28) for second place on Gettysburg's career list.
