Offensive Player of the Week 9/26/16

Dey tallied three goals last week, leading the Red Devils to a pair of Centennial Conference wins and a 3-0 start in conference play. Dey struck once against Gettysburg and tallied a pair at Swarthmore on Saturday.

 

Defensive Player of the Week 9/26/16

Rosenthal did not allow a goal in 127:30 as Muhlenberg shut out DeSales and Johns Hopkins to remain undefeated for the season. She made eight saves in the two games, including four in a 1-0 CC shutout of Johns Hopkins.

 

NOTEBOOK:

Muhlenberg senior Taylor Smith scored seven points on three goals and an assist as the Mules won a pair of games to remain undefeated on the season. She recorded second career hat trick in a 6-0 win against DeSales, scoring three goals on only four shots, and assisted on the lone goal in a 1-0 CC defeat of Johns Hopkins.

F&M freshman Mel Gula tallied the only goal of the game on Saturday as No. 6 F&M took down No. 4 Ursinus 1-0 in a clash of conference powerhouses. The goal was the first of Gula's career.
