Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Federici averaged 26.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week for the Diplomats. He poured in 28 points with four treys in the 82-75 come-from-behind win at Keystone and tallied 24 with five rebounds, three assists and three blocks in a 68-55 win vs. McDaniel. Federici shot 62.5 percent from the floor (20-of-32) on the week.

Dickinson senior F Steve Collins (Rydal, Pa.) scored 25 points on 11-of-14 shooting from the floor in a 75-57 victory at Haverford. He also grabbed seven rebounds and blocked a shot.

Franklin & Marshall spotted Keystone a 23-point first-half lead before storming back to defeat the Little Giants, 82-75. F&M outscored their hosts, 26-3, over the final seven minutes of the first half to tie the game at the break. Freshman Brandon Federici (Morganville, N.J.) led the Diplomats with 28 points. Head coach Glenn Robinson passed Jim Calhoun for eighth place on the all-time NCAA coaching wins list when the Diplomats downed McDaniel, 68-55. He now has 874 career victories.

Junior F Kevin Gladstone (Havertown, Pa.) scored nine of his 13 points in the final 4:35 as Gettysburg rallied to defeat Swarthmore, 53-48, to give head coach George Petrie his 350th career win.

Johns Hopkins' 76-56 win at Ursinus is the Blue Jays' largest in Collegeville since a 76-47 win on December 8, 1976. Senior G Jimmy Hammer (Collegeville, Pa.) impressed the home folks with his second 20-point game of the season and 11th of his career. Hammer is fourth among all active D-III players in career free throw percentage (88.3). Sophomore F Ryan Curran (Flanders, N.J.) added a career-high 14 points.

McDaniel junior Tim Stewart (Smyrna, Del.) posted his first career double-double with 11 points and a career-best 11 rebounds at F&M.

Muhlenberg senior G Malique Killing (Philadelphia, Pa.) and junior Alec Stavetski (Wayne, Pa.) earned All-Tournament honors at 'Berg's Scotty Wood Classic.

Muhlenberg senior Malique Killing (Philadelphia, Pa.) moved into 14th place on the Centennial career scoring list with 1,585 points in just 83 games. His 19.1 career points per game is on pace to establish a Conference record, currently held by Ursinus' Rich Barrett '01 (18.60). Killing needs 15 points to become the 12th player in Centennial history to reach the 1,600-point plateau.

Dickinson senior Gerry Wixted (Moorestown, N.J.) became the 29th player in Centennial history to score 1,400 points and now has 1,412. He also needs 34 more rebounds to become the 22nd player to collect 700 rebounds.
