Stewart averaged 19.7 points and 8.3 rebounds, while shooting 52.6 percent from the field and handing out seven assists in a 2-1 week. After a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds vs. Valley Forge, he tallied 23 markers with eight caroms in the 65-61 win at Washington College. Stewart followed that effort with a 25-point outburst on 11-of-16 shooting from the floor in the 63-48 win over Haverford.

Around the Conference

Dickinson and Johns Hopkins will meet on Saturday in Carlisle in the first-ever game between two top-10 Centennial teams. The Red Devils fell five spots to #9 after a road loss to Ursinus, while the Blue Jays jumped three spots to #10 - the highest-ever ranking for Hop - after wins over Franklin & Marshall and Swarthmore.

Johns Hopkins rallied from a 20-point second-half deficit to win at Swarthmore, 56-55. The Blue Jays trailed 46-26 with 12:41 remaining before outscoring the Garnet, 30-9, down the stretch. Sophomore Ryan Curran (Flanders, N.J.) converted a traditional three-point play with 0:23 left for the winning points. Senior Jimmy Hammer (Collegeville, Pa.) led all scorers with 22 points - his 15th career 20-point game.

Ursinus ran its home winning streak to seven with a 53-50 upset of fourth-ranked Dickinson. It was the Bears' first win over a ranked team in six years and highest-ranked opponent ever defeated by an Ursinus squad. Junior Malik Draper (Scranton, Pa.) led UC with 14 points. The Bears are 9-5 since opening the season with seven straight defeats.

Franklin & Marshall's Brandon Federici (Morganville, N.J.) continues to lead the nation's freshmen - all divisions - in scoring at 20.1 ppg. His 423 points is just 26 shy of the Centennial single-season mark for rookies of 449 set by Muhlenberg's Malique Killing in 2012.

Killing moved past Ursinus' Rich Barrett '01 into fifth place on the Conference career scoring list with 1,855 points. He needs 48 points to become the fifth Centennial player to score 1,900 in a career and 121 to tie Ursinus' Nick Shattuck for the all-time point lead. Killing also became just the second player in Conference history to record 1,800 career points and 300 career assists.

Dickinson senior Gerry Wixted (Moorestown, N.J.) is the lone player to rank in the top five in the Conference in scoring (16.7) and rebounding (7.4). He has scored in double figures in 16 straight games and 19 of 20 this season. Junior Ted Hinnenkamp (York, Pa.) leads the Centennial in field goal percentage (63.8).

Washington College shocked #16 Franklin & Marshall, 81-80, in overtime. It is the fourth time in six season and sixth time overall that the Shoremen have defeated a ranked Diplomat squad. Junior Dave Knox (Warrington, Pa.) had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while soph James Drury (Jenkintown, Pa.) added 19 points for WAC.

McDaniel vaulted into fourth place in the standings with wins at Washington College and at home against Haverford. Junior Tim Stewart (Smyrna, Del.) averaged 24.0 points in the victories. Junior Wes Brooks (North Wales, Pa.) did not score against the Fords, snapping a 42-game streak in which he scored at least one point.

Muhlenberg freshman Nick Rindock (Allentown, Pa.) has averaged 16.9 points over his last seven games, connecting on 49-of-74 shots from the field (66.2).

Swarthmore freshman Zack Yonda (Conestoga, Pa.) poured in 32 points in a losing cause against Ursinus. He knocked down 11-of-23 shots from the floor, including five threes. He is second among Centennial freshmen in scoring at 14.0 ppg.
