Federici averaged 20.3 points in a 3-0 week for the nationally-ranked Diplomats. He shot 60.0 percent from the field (24-40), including 65.0 percent success (13-20) from beyond the three-point arc. Federici exploded for a career-high 34 points in an 88-64 victory versus Haverford, connecting on 13-of-15 shots from the floor (8-9 three-pointers). He also had 18 points and six rebounds in a 64-62 win at Dickinson.

Dickinson suffered its second straight two-point loss as the Devils fell at Ursinus, 69-67. First-year Jule Brown (Ardmore, Pa.) filled up the stat sheet with a season-high 18 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Senior Brandon Angradi (Milford, Pa.) made five threes and is seven shy of becoming the fourth Centennial player to drain 250 in a career. He is averaging 18.0 ppg. over the last three games. Classmate Ted Hinnenkamp (York, Pa.) had his five-game streak of double-figure scoring outputs ended.
Franklin & Marshall sophomore Brandon Federici (Morganville, N.J.) hit 8-of-9 three-pointers for a career-high 34 points as the Diplomats defeated Haverford, 88-64. Classmate Lionel Owana (Forest Hill, Md.) also had a career day with 13 points, all in the first half on 6-of-6 shooting. Senior Cedric Moune (Douala, Cameroon) posted his ninth double-double of the season and 21st of his career with 17 points and 12 boards. Saturday’s meeting with Swarthmore will be the 100th in the series.
Junior Pete Christ (Pittstown, N.J.) made a run at a triple-double with 20 points, eight rebounds and a career-high seven assists as Gettysburg won at Washington College, 79-61. The win enabled the Bullets to pull into a tie for second place in the CC with Swarthmore. Senior Kevin Gladstone (Havertown, Pa.) added 16 points and is averaging 17.8 ppg over his last four contests. Junior Tanner Kirkpatrick (Carlisle, Pa.) grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds vs. the Shoremen.
Haverford fell behind early and fell at #19 Franklin & Marshall, 88-64. Freshman Kahlil Garnes (Livingston, N.J.) poured in a career-best 25 points, while classmate Joe Scibelli (Charlotte, N.C.) added 14 for his fifth straight double-digit performance. Garnes is shooting 45.7 percent from the floor on the road and just 33.3 percent at Gooding Arena.
Johns Hopkins scored the final eight points of the game to pull away and sweep the season set from Swarthmore, 62-53. The Blue Jays placed five players in double figures for the second straight outing, led by senior Gene Williams (Broomall, Pa.) with 13. Senior Matt Billups (Watchung, N.J.) registered his first double-double of the year with 10 points and 10 boards. He is one blocked shot shy of 100 for his career.
McDaniel built a 10-point second-half advantage and hung on to defeat Muhlenberg, 56-54. Senior Wes Brooks (North Wales, Pa.) and sophomore Josh McWilliams (Newtown, Pa.) led the way with 14 points as the Green Terror moved back to .500 on the season. Senior F Tim Stewart (Smyrna, Del.) scored only four points to have his double-figure scoring streak snapped at 22 contests
Muhlenberg dropped its fourth straight contest, losing at McDaniel, 56-54. Junior John Hunter (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) recorded his fourth career double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Sophomore Nick Rindock (Allentown, Pa.) led the Mules with 18 points and has scored in double figures in five of his last six outings. The Mules are winless since 2000 against ranked opponents on the road (0-11).
Swarthmore lost at Tarble Pavilion for the first time this season as Johns Hopkins escaped with a 62-53 victory. Freshman Christian Rhodes (La Habra, Calif.) led the Garnet with 11 points in just 16 minutes of action. Swarthmore shot just 17.1 percent from the floor in the first half and 23.9 percent for the game. The Garnet has not defeated Hop at Tarble since 2010. Swarthmore is 0-23 vs. ranked teams since 2002. Saturday’s meeting with Franklin & Marshall will be the 100th in the series.
Ursinus won its third straight contest with a 69-67 thriller over Dickinson. Sophomores Remi Janicot (Paris, France) and Joe LoStracco (Chalfont, Pa.) each posted double-doubles with 15 points and 14 rebounds and 17-10, respectively. Trailing by one with 1:04 left, soph Brian Rafferty (Harleysville, Pa.) drained a three-pointer to put the Bears up for good. The Bears shot 52.4 percent from the floor. Ursinus is shooting 43.6 percent in home games but only 32.1 percent on the road.
Washington College could not make it two wins in a row, falling at home to Gettysburg, 79-61. Junior James Drury (Jenkintown, Pa.) led the Shoremen with 11 points, while freshman Brandon Berry (Lorton, Va.) added a career high with 10 markers. Drury has scored in double figures in six straight games, averaging 15.3 during the stretch.
