Complete Men's Basketball release - Jan. 16, 2017

LANCASTER, Pa. — Franklin & Marshall's J.C. McGrath was named the Centennial Conference (CC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. The honor is the first for McGrath and the first for a member of the F&M team this year. 

McGrath averaged 17.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks in three Diplomat victories last week. He recorded his first career double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds to go along with six blocks in the 84-72 win against Washington College on Thursday. McGrath exploded for a career-high 30 points with nine boards in the 83-66 win at #16 Swarthmore to wrap up the week on Saturday. For the week, he made 18-of-25 shots from the field (72.0 percent) and 17-of-18 (94.4) from the line.
