2019 Outlook

Preseason Prediction: 2nd

The Garnet just missed out on back-to-back Centennial titles and reached the NCAA Elite Eight before seeing its season conclude. Swarthmore welcomes back three starters including Wiley, the 2017 CC Player of the Year, and O'Dell, who has become one of the top big men in the Conference. Wiley, who surpassed the 1,000-point mark in his career last season, averaged 16.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per outing. O'Dell posted 10.6 points, 8.2 rebounds and blocked 60 shots. Joining him up front is Shafer, who shot 62.8 percent from the floor, averaging 9.7 points and 6.4 caroms per game. Alongside Wiley in the backcourt will be Ingram, Harkins and Sallah. The Garnet have established a program that is a perennial contender for a Centennial crown.
