2019 Outlook

Preseason Prediction: 9th

The Shoremen have four starters back in the fold in search of their first double-digit win season since 2012. Porteous and Allen make up a potent backcourt. Porteous averaged 11.6 points and made 46 threes, while Allen added 8.4 points per outing. Schmelzer is a good long-range threat, while Storm and Barry McCormick provide depth. Marshall could be in line for a breakout season. He posted 9.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game last winter. Lewis, Brown and Kevin McCormick also return up front. Washington College allowed 46.7 percent shooting and had a -7.8 scoring margin a year ago. Those numbers must turn around for the Shoremen to make a run at the Conference playoffs.
