Gettysburg's Sethre-Hofstad Named Player of the Week

 

Player of the Week 10/18/16

Sethre-Hofstad won the Randolph-Macon Ted Keller Memorial, shooting a 147. He opened with an even-par 70 - the third-lowest round of his career - before carding a 77 in the final round to win by one stroke in the field of 93. His performance helped the Bullets tie for second among 18 teams with a score of 616 (309-307).

Brandon Vance, Jr, McDaniel
Worcester, Pa./Methacton
Vance posted a round of 69 on Saturday to key a two-round score of 141 and win his second straight individual title, leading McDaniel to a second-place finish at its own Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic on Saturday and Sunday. Vance matched the tournament record on Saturday with a round of 69 in rainy conditions to sleep on a one-stroke lead. The junior followed that up with an even-par 72 over the final 18 holes to post a career-low 36-hole total and win by two shots.


Co-Players of the Week 9/27/16

Brandon Vance, Jr, McDaniel

Vance fired a season-best round of 71 to post an even-par score and win the Gettysburg Fall Invitational on Saturday. He bested the field by three shots.

Dan Altieri, So, Swarthmore
Skillman, N.J./Montgomery

Swarthmore's Dan Altieri shot a 71 (par) at Rock Manor on Sunday to take medalist honors in a 47-player field. Altieri carded three birdies and only had three bogeys.

Player of the Week 9/20/16

Danny Harcourt, Soph, Gettysburg
Fanwood, N.J./Saint Peter's Prep

Harcourt won the Penn State Harrisburg Invitational by three strokes, finishing the 36-hole event with a 4-under 140. He tied his collegiate low with a 69 on the opening day before carding a 71 on the final round. Harcourt, who claimed his second career medalist honor, led the Bullets to a fourth-place finish among 13 teams, as the Orange and Blue shot a 600 (292-308).
