Gallagher took home medalist honors at McDaniel's Spring Invitational over the weekend, carding a one-over 73, to earn the top spot in a field of 27 golfers. Gallagher and teammate Jas Fuhrer both tied for the lead but medalist honors were determined based on the first handicap hole, No. 9. Gallagher birdied that hole during Saturday's only round.
Women's Golf Athlete of the Week
Jessica Lamarca, Jr., Ursinus

Lamarca carded a career-best 82 to win the McDaniel Invitational by eight strokes over the nearest competitor. The individual title was the first for Lamarca, whose previous career low was 95.
