Gettysburg Tops Men's Lacrosse Preseason Poll

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Gettysburg has been selected as the favorite to claim conference hardware in the 2019 Centennial Conference Men's Lacrosse Preseason Poll. The Bullets notched six first-place votes and 62 points to secure the top spot in a vote among the conference head coaches. 

Dickinson and Franklin & Marshall also received first-place votes in the poll. The defending-champion Red Devils, who defeated Gettysburg 9-8 in last year's title game, collected a pair of first-place votes and totaled 56 points to place second in the voting. The Diplomats received one first-place vote and tallied 53 points to secure third place. 

Washington College took fourth with 38 points, followed by Haverford (34), Muhlenberg (31), Swarthmore (26), Ursinus (16), and McDaniel (8). 

The 2019 campaign begins for Centennial squads on Saturday, Feb. 16 with seven teams in action. For the full schedule, click here
