F&M Men's 800 Free Relay Earns All-America Honors

The Franklin & Marshall men's 800 freestyle relay team placed 16th to earn All-America honors and headline Centennial Conference competitors on day three of the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships in Greensboro, N.C. 

The F&M quartet of Brendan Cline, Timothy Gould, Alec Wahl, and Christopher Schiavone registered a 16th-place finish in the 800 freestyle relay with a time of 6:50.69. The team's top-16 finish earned all members All-American Honorable Mention status. 

The Swarthmore men's 800 freestyle relay of Jeffrey Tse, Christopher Smith, Alec Lawless, and Jeremy Rockaway placed just behind F&M in 17th place at 6:50.70.  

The fourth and final day of action on Saturday begins with preliminaries at 10 a.m.
