Donn Steps Down as Tennis Coach at Washington College

David Donn is leaving his position as head men's and women's tennis coach at Washington College after four seasons to pursue a career outside of coaching.

Donn was named the Centennial Conference Women's Tennis Coach of the Year this past spring after guiding the Shorewomen to a 15-3 overall and 9-1 conference record. The Shorewomen's 83.3% winning percentage was their highest in 24 years and third-highest in team history. They also reached the Centennial Conference Championship match for the first time in four years.

In Donn's four years as head coach, the Shorewomen reached the conference tournament three times, while the Shoremen reached the conference tournament twice.

A national search for Donn's successor will begin immediately.
