Johns Hopkins Preseason Favorite in Men's Indoor Track & Field

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Six-time defending champion Johns Hopkins has been chosen as the unanimous favorite to repeat as champions in the 2019 Centennial Conference Men's Indoor Track & Field Preseason Poll. The Blue Jays tallied all eight possible first-place votes and 64 points to land atop the preseason rankings. 

Haverford grabbed the other first-place vote and took second in the poll with 56 points, while Swarthmore (46 points) edged Dickinson (45 points) by the narrowest of margins for third. Ursinus rounded out the top-five placings with 30 points, with Gettysburg and Muhlenberg one point behind the Bears in a tie for sixth. 

The indoor season will begin this weekend, with Dickinson opening up the action on Friday, Nov. 1 and six Centennial squads competing on Saturday. For the full indoor schedule, click here
