Men's Track Athlete of the Week 12/10/18

Eppley tied the Swarthmore College record in the 60-meter hurdles on Saturday with a time of 9.07 seconds at the Haverford Holiday Meet. He crossed in second place, finishing just 0.01 behind the first-place finisher. He also contributed to a third-place mark in the 4x400 relay (3:41.73), helping the Garnet score the most points of the six teams at the meet.

Hejna excelled in the long jump, triple jump, and high jump on Saturday at the Haverford Holiday Meet. He won the long jump with a mark of 6.59 meters, placed second in the triple jump at 13.23 meters, and took third in the high jump at 1.90 meters. All of those distances currently rank top 50 in NCAA Division III, and they helped Swarthmore score the most points of the six teams at Saturday's meet. His triple jump and high jump marks rank No. 35 in Division III, while his long jump is 47th.
