April 14, 2014 Andrew Bartnett, Fr, Johns Hopkins Andrew Bartnett can now add Hopkins/Loyola Facility record to his already impressive freshman resume, as the St. Louis, MO native cleared 5.00 meters (16’4.75”) to win the pole vault at the Hopkins/Loyola Invite. The jump was a career-best for Bartnett, who also topped Brian Nichols’s 14-year outdoor record of 4.88 meters (16’0.00”) set back in 2000. Bartnett is now tied for first in the nation with the jump, and claims the indoor, outdoor and facility records at Johns Hopkins in only his first season with the Blue Jays. |
