Muhlenberg's Jaryd Flank Selected Cross Country Runner of the Week

Flank finished first in a field of 46 runners at the Cedar Crest/Muhlenberg Invitational to capture his first collegiate win. He completed the course in a time of 16:20.22 to lead a 1-2-3-4-5 Muhlenberg clean sweep across the finish line.

Notebook:

Dickinson junior Joey Steadman clocked a winning time of 15:47 at the Little Three Championship to help the Red Devils extend their winning streak at the event to 18 straight. His win marked the program’s 15th consecutive individual title as well.

At the Navy Invitational, Johns Hopkins senior Austin Stecklair finished in a time of 25:26.47 to place 16th overall. He recorded the best time for the Blue Jays and was the top Division III runner at the Navy Invitational. The Johns Hopkins men's cross country team is ranked seventh in the country, and finished fourth out of 10 teams at the Navy Invitational.

Gettysburg senior Ben Taber placed fifth among 50 runners at the Little Meet. He was timed at 16:01 for the 5,000-meter course, which is the best by a Gettysburg runner since Brenden Repack '12 took fourth in 2010.

Steadman was the top Division III runner on Friday at the Galen Piper Invitational at Shippensburg University. He completed the 6,000-meter course in a time of 19:33 to finish sixth overall and lead the 15th-ranked Red Devils to third place.

Ceruzzi claimed first place at the Salisbury Fall Classic with a time of 25:45.84. The win is the first of his collegiate career.  The Blue Jays won the meet, with five runners finishing in the top six. The No. 7 ranked Johns Hopkins men’s cross country team also placed first in the Baltimore Metro Invitational this weekend.
