Went 2-0 in three outings this week with a 0.44 ERA as the Shorewomen clinched a spot in the Centennial Conference Tournament for the seventh time since 2011 as they had to win all four games this weekend to do so. On Saturday in game one against Franklin & Marshall, she allowed just one hit over six innings with one walk and three strikeouts as the Shorewomen won 6-0. She came in releif in game two and tossed the final six innings and did not allow a run as she scattered five hits and fanned three. On Sunday at Muhlenberg, she tossed four innings in game one where she allowed just one earned run with five strikeouts as the Shorewomen notched a 3-2 win.

Madison Milaszewski, Jr, P, Dickinson
Rutland, Mass./Sutton
Milaszewski went 3-0 and added a save last week, tossing a five-hit shutout and a four-hitter. She recorded 27 strikeouts in six appearances and 30 innings of work. 

 

 

Softball Pitcher of the Week 4/16/18
Cassie Rickrode, So, P, McDaniel
Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic
Rickrode led the Green Terror in the circle in a 5-0-1 week. She made three starts, going the distance twice, and posted a 2-0 record, including a 1-0 shutout of Muhlenberg on Saturday. She struck out 11 in 19 innings of work. 

 

Softball Pitcher of the Week 4/9/18
Morgan Clauser, Jr, P, Gettysburg
Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington
Clauser went 3-0 with a 0.44 ERA and nine strikeouts in 16 innings of work last week. Clauser picked up her first two wins in a pair of relief appearances against McDaniel and Haverford, allowing just one earned run in nine innings of work. She fired a complete-game against Dickinson, surrendering just two unearned runs while fanning five.

 

 

Softball Pitcher of the Week 4/2/18
Kaitlyn Willis, Sr, P, Ursinus
Perryville, Md./Perryville
Willis allowed just one earned run in 20.0 innings of work in a dominant week for the Bears' ace. The senior struck out 22 and conceded just 12 hits and six walks. Willis pitched six innings of one-run ball in a 1-0 loss at Washington College, then tossed 14 frames without allowing an earned run in Saturday's doubleheader against McDaniel. Willis leads the CC in strikeouts (63) and ranks second in ERA (1.11).

 

Softball Pitcher of the Week 3/19/18
Madison Milaszewski, Jr, P, Dickinson
Rutland, Mass. / Sutton
Milaszewski had a great week in Arizona, going 3-0 while making six appearances. The junior booked 26 strikeouts in 24.2 innings of work, allowing just five walks. She tossed complete game victories over Wisconsin-LaCrosse and the University of Dubuque, recording 17 strikeouts in those two outings.

 

 

Softball Pitcher of the Week 3/12/18
Haley Fedak, Sr, P, Muhlenberg
Glen Gardner, N.J. / Voorhees
Fedak was 3-2 with a 1.91 ERA and struck out 29 batters in 25 2/3 innings in five appearances for the Mules. She became the first player in program history to pitch a shutout and hit a grand slam in the same game when she blanked Emerson on two hits. She also struck out a career-high 11 batters in a five-hitter vs. John Carroll. Fedak held opponents to a .198 batting average on the week.
