WBCA RELEASE

ATLANTA, Ga. – Swarthmore College senior Katie Lytle was among 10 NCAA Division III student-athletes in the country to be named a Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-American First Team selection, as announced by the national organization on Thursday, March 20.

Lytle, who was honorably mentioned for All-America laurels by the WBCA last year, is the third player in league history to earn multiple Centennial Conference Player of the Year honors. The senior, who registered 14 double-doubles, averaged 17.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, 2.3 steals, 2.3 assists and 0.7 blocks this season. In addition, Lytle led the league in scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage (51.4) while ranking second in steals.

A native of Harrisburg, Lytle was also named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week four times this season and was a Capital One Academic All-American last month. She finished her illustrious career ranked sixth all-time in scoring (1,382 points), third in rebounding (1,050), fourth in steals (228), fourth in blocks (85) and seventh in field goals made (495).

Lytle was also recently named a D3Hoops.com All-Mid-Atlantic Region First Team selection earlier this week and is currently eligible for All-America accolades from the organization as well. The announcement of D3Hoops.com All-Americans should be made in the next few weeks.
