Haverford's Nina Voith Named Player of the Week

December 2, 2013
Nina Voith, Sr, Haverford,

Voith's career-high 27 points against Muhlenberg helped the Fords upend previously undefeated Muhlenberg on its home floor -- a place where Haverford had registered just one previous win in program history. The senior guard, who just missed a double-double with nine rebounds, moved into third place on the program's all-time scoring list with the sensational effort that included an 11-for-12 performance from the free throw line.

Notebook:

Dickinson freshman Erica Buls tallied seven points and 11 rebounds, including six on the offensive end. She added a steal and a block in the Devil's strong defensive effort at Gettysburg on Tuesday night.

Franklin & Marshall senior Kristina McCarthy tied a career-high with 20 points and also added 12 rebounds to complete her second double-double of the season.

Gettysburg senior Alyssa Isler led the Bullets with 14 points in a 55-43 victory over Dickinson on Nov. 26. Isler canned 5-of-7 field goal attempts, including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc.

Swarthmore junior Elle Larsen scored a team-leading 23 points and grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds in a 70-64 loss against Ursinus.

Senior Diamond Lewis helped lead Ursinus to a key road win over Swarthmore on Tuesday, pushing the Bears to a 2-1 CC mark after two weeks. She hd six assists to just one turnovers and made 50 percent of her shots.

Washington College freshman Nina Haller scored a game-high 16 points, grabbed five rebounds to tie for team-high and blocked a team-best two shots in Washington's 88-23 win over Bryn Mawr.  She scored her 16 points on 53% shooting from the floor on eight field goal makes.

Tallamy averaged 20.0 points and 8.5 rebounds and made important plays as Muhlenberg opened its CC season with two overtime wins. She contributed to six of the Mules' 10 points in the extra period against Swarthmore with three points and an assist, and her three-point play with 1:04 left in overtime accounted for what proved to be the winning points against Washington.

November 18, 2013
Katie Lytle, Sr, Swarthmore

Katie Lytle was named the MVP of the 13th Annual Swarthmore Tip-Off Tournament and became the ninth player in program history to score at least 1,000 points in her career after leading the Garnet to a 2-0 start with wins over Kean, 59-42, and Connecticut College by a 58-55 score. Lytle, who registered a double-double in both games, most notably racked up 29 points, 14 rebounds and five steals in the championship battle against Connecticut College. All three marks against the Camels were game highs.
