Johns Hopkins was selected as the 2014-15 Centennial Conference women's basketball preseason favorite in a poll of women's basketball coaches and sports information directors.

The Blue Jays earned 10 first-place votes and a total of 149 points in the poll. Finishing just a few points behind, with seven first-place votes and 144 points, was the reigning champs, Haverford. McDaniel was third with 131 points and three first-place votes, followed by Muhlenberg (131) and Gettysburg (94).
