McDaniel was selected as the 2015-16 Centennial Conference women's basketball preseason favorite in a poll of women's basketball coaches and sports information directors.
The Green Terror narrowly claimed the top spot in the poll over Johns Hopkins by receiving three more first-place votes. Finishing just one point behind McDaniel and JHU, Muhlenberg tallied four first-place votes on its way to securing third. Gettysburg earned a first-place vote and 127 points to finish fourth. Rounding out the top five, Haverford gathered two first-place votes and 115 points.
