Junior Rachel Plotke of the Muhlenberg women's basketball team was named Centennial Conference player of the week.
Plotke was the Mules' leading scorer in all three games in a 3-0 CC week. She averaged 16.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per game, shooting 48.0 percent from three-point range.
Plotke scored 13 of her game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter of a key 73-63 win against Dickinson, leading Muhlenberg back from an 11-point deficit early in the period. She finished the week by scoring 17 points in only 23 minutes in an 82-40 win at Washington.
For the season, Plotke is averaging 12.5 points per game and is leading the team with 28 three-pointers despite missing nine games with an injury. Her return to full health has coincided with the Mules' resurgence: In the team's current five-game winning streak, Plotke is averaging 17.0 points and shooting 53.7 percent from three-point range.
A 2016 All-CC first-team selection, Plotke ranks fifth in team history with 129 career threes.
