LANCASTER, Pa. - Gettysburg will host the Centennial Conference women's basketball final four for the second-straight season. The Bullets wrapped up the regular season with an 86-48 win at Bryn Mawr in Saturday's regular season finale.
Tuesday's first round will feature No. 4 Ursinus hosting No. 5 Muhlenberg. Ursinus entered Saturday's action already locked into the No. 4 seed, while Muhlenberg clinched the fifth and final seed despite a last-second 55-54 setback to Franklin & Marshall. The Mules were aided by Washington College's 63-59 win over Dickinson, as the Red Devils needed a win and Mules' loss to enter the playoff picture.
Tuesday's Ursinus/Muhlenberg winner will advance to the semifinals opposite the top-seeded Bullets. Second-seeded Johns Hopkins will take on third-seeded Haverford in Friday's other semifinal at Gettysburg's Bream Gym. The winners will meet in the final on Saturday at 4 p.m. at Gettysburg.
