Shannon Keeler, Fr, Gettysburg

Keeler led seventh-ranked Gettysburg to an 8-6 win over No. 6 Franklin & Marshall on April 23. The freshman goalie racked up a collegiate-best 15 saves in holding the Diplomats to their second-lowest goal total of the season. She posted seven saves in the final period as Gettysburg surged ahead with a 5-1 run.

Defensive Player of the Week

Allison Remenapp, Fr, Washington College

Went 2-0 with a .564 save percentage and a 7.93 goals against average for the Shorewomen this past week.  In the team's 12-11 double overtime victory over #5 Gettysburg on Saturday, she matched her personal-high with 14 saves, including a save on a point-blank shot with 5:08 left in the second overtime session to keep the score tied at 11-11.  Made 10 of her 14 saves after halftime in the team's first victory over Gettysburg since a 12-9 triumph on 5/1/99, a span of 17 games.  She also scooped up a pair of ground balls in the win.  At Haverford on Wednesday night, she made eight saves in an 11-6 victory, making five of the eight stops in the second half.  Had more saves than goals allowed in both games and had 22 saves for the week.

Kelsey Hoffman, Sr, Franklin & Marshall

Kelsey Hoffman went 1-0 this week with 10 saves in the 18-8 win over Swarthmore on Saturday.

Kelsey Hoffman, Sr, Franklin & Marshall

Hoffman made 21 saves in a 2-1 week for the Diplomats.  She had a .450 goals against average against Conference opponents and her one loss came to #4 The College of New Jeresey in overtime.

Defensive Player of the Week

Kaitlyn McCaffrey, Sr, Muhlenberg

McCaffrey recorded 10 ground balls, seven caused turnovers and five draw controls in a 1-1 week for the Mules. She had four ground balls to lead a Muhlenberg defense that held Albright to one first-half goal in a 17-5 win, and she added a game-high six ground balls and a career-high six caused turnovers in a 15-13 loss to No. 6 Gettysburg.

Philbin and the Bears went 2-0 this week. She made 21 saves and allowed maintained an 8.00 goals against average.

Anastasia Mergner, So, Franklin & Marshall

Mergner helped lead F&M to two wins last week with 17 draw controls and six ground balls in the week. She had 11 draws and three ground balls in F&M's 19-14 win over Stevens and picked up six draws and three ground balls against Occidental.

Defensive Player of the Week

Connie Bowen, So, Swarthmore

Backup goalie Connie Bowen helped lead the Garnet to a convincing 17-4 season-opening victory over Eastern by having a career performance between the pipes. She made six saves and did not yield a goal in the second half against Eastern. Swarthmore outscored the Eagles 7-0 in the second frame while Bowen was between the pipes. Her six saves was also a career high over one half of action.

Freshman Shannon Keeler stood tall in front of the cage during her collegiate debut. Keeler logged 10 saves in a 15-6 win over No. 19 Stevenson on Feb. 19. The first-year keeper picked up six of her saves in the final stanza and added two ground balls in the game.
