The Centennial Conference had an impressive opening weekend on the pitch, winning 17 of 20 matches for an 85.0 winning percentage.

Six teams opened with perfect 2-0 slates - Dickinson, Haverford, Johns Hopkins, McDaniel, Muhlenberg and Swarthmore - while two others - Ursinus and Washington College - won their openers.

Fifteen of the 17 victories came via shutout.
