Bryn Mawr (2-6-1 in 2016)
Head Coach: Paul Stinson (Kenyon '00), 2nd season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | Statistics | Season Preview
All-Time Record: 157-355-33
Centennial Titles (0)
Playoff Appearances (0)

Key Returnees: Genevieve Main, Soph, M, 2-2-6; Emily Elmore, Soph, M, 2-1-5; Alexis Boutchie, Soph, M, 2-0-4; Kara Breeden, Sr, B; Elena Luedy, Jr, B; Leah Baer, Jr, GK, 2.55 GAA, 70.6 save pct.
Key Losses: Katherine Nickols, M, 3-1-7; Anna Schoonover, B; Jessica Shill, M.
Preseason Poll Projection: 11th
Outlook: The Owls return to Conference play this fall after a year's absence. Main, Elmore and Boutchie combined for 67 percent of the scoring and hope to build on last fall's lessons. Breeden and Luedy provide experience on the backline, while Baer returns in goal. Bryn Mawr is not ready to compete for a playoff berth but will look to keep improving.

Olivia Termini, Dickinson

Dickinson (7-6-4, 2-5-2 CC, 8th place)
Head Coach: Ted Zingman (Johns Hopkins '00), 1st season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | Statistics | Season Preview
All-Time Record: 297-252-45
Playoff Appearances (4): 2005-08-09-10
Finals (4): 2005-08-09-10
Centennial Titles (0)

Key Returnees: Olivia Termini, Jr, M, 11-1-23, HM All-CC; Briona Davis, Jr, F, 2-3-7; Elizabeth Krause, Soph, F, 4-4-12; Rachel Lazris, Soph, B, 2-1-5; Alexandra Goldrich, Sr, M, 3-1-7; Samantha Knapp, Jr, F, 3-0-6; Sienna Zittle, Soph, F, 3-0-6; Eryn McDonald, Soph, B; Killian Donohue, Jr, B; Amanda Masterson, Sr, GK, 1.97 GAA, 73.6 save pct.
Key Losses: Jillian Marini, B; Gabriella Tomasini, Sr, B; McKenzie Dean, B.
Preseason Poll Projection: 7th
Outlook: The Red Devils begin a new era under Zingman with a lot of returning firepower. All-CC selection Termini and Goldrich are veterans in the midfield and combined for 14 goals last fall. Davis, Krause, Knapp and Zittle scored 13 goals among them up front. The problem was that Dickinson was only +6 in goal differential. Lazris, McDonald and Donohue picked up valuable experience on the backline and Masterson returns in goal. Don't be surprised if the Devils are contending for a playoff spot come November.

Reanna Leoni, Franklin & Marshall

Franklin & Marshall
 (7-9-1, 2-6-1 CC, 9th place)
Head Coach: Heather Kemp (Messiah '08), 3rd season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | Statistics | Season Preview
All-Time Record: 290-276-44
Playoff Appearances (3): 2001-02-11
Finals (0)
Centennial Titles (0)

Key Returnees: Reanna Leoni, Sr, F, 5-2-12, HM All-CC; Nicolette Runko, Soph, B, HM All-CC; Kyra Judge, Sr, M, 3-1-7; Emily O'Hara, Soph, M, 2-0-4; Sabrina Graziano, Jr, M, 1-1-3; Blaise Ebanietti, Sr, B; Isabella Raspa, Sr, M.
Key Losses: Sarah Mischianti, B, HM All-CC; Nicole Savidge, GK, 0.77 GAA, 87.0 save pct; Kate Kerr, M, 3-1-7; Mary Franco, B.
Preseason Poll Projection: 9th
Outlook: The Diplomats are trending upward, battling the two CC finalists to 1-0 matches and finishing 2-1-1 in its last four. Leoni, a honorable mention All-CC pick in 2016, led the team in scoring a year ago and is the headliner up front. Judge, O'Hara, Raspa and Graziano make up a veteran midfield, while Runko, also a honorable mention All-CC selection, and Ebanietti anchor the backline. If F&M can find a keeper in camp, the Blue and White is capable of making noise in the Centennial standings.

Maddie Heaney, Gettysburg

Gettysburg
(8-8-2, 4-4-1 CC, 5th place, lost to McDaniel in Centennial semifinal, 3-1)
Head Coach: Matt Garrett (Slippery Rock), 10th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | Statistics | Season Preview (8/29)
All-Time Record: 303-178-44
Playoff Appearances (14): 2001-02-03-04-05-06-07-10-11-12-13-14-15-16
Finals (4): 2002-03-04-11
Centennial Titles (5): 1993-94-98-99-2004

Key Returnees: Samantha Esposito, Jr, F, 3-1-7; Alexa Bushey, Jr, M, 2-3-7; Brooke Priddy, Soph, M; Maddie Heaney, Sr, B; Gillian Sencindiver, Sr, B; Lauren Miesemer, Jr, M, 4-2-10; Krissy Bradley, Sr, M, 2-2-6; Jessica Cuttone, Sr, B, 1-1-3;
Key Losses: Julia Ramsey, F, 2nd team All-CC; Hannah Theurer, M; Kiera Loftus, GK, 1.28 GAA, 79.1 save pct.
Preseason Poll Projection: 4th
Outlook: Gettysburg struggled offensively but still made the CC playoffs for the seventh straight season. The Bullets return 89 percent of its offense from a year ago, led by Miesemer. Bushey, Priddy and Bradley complement her at midfield, while Esposito is the headliner up front. Heaney, Sencindiver and Cuttone are seasoned backs but a 'keeper must step up in camp. Gettysburg should extend its playoff streak. The question is can it return to the final for the first time since 2011?

Katie Safter, Haverford

Haverford
(10-4-4, 4-3-2 CC, 4th place, tied Gettysburg in CC first round, 2-2, PK: 2-4)
Head Coach: Jamie Schneck (Muhlenberg '03), 11th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | Statistics | Season Preview
All-Time Record: 286-239-57
Playoff Appearances (10): 2004-05-07-08-09-10-11-12-13-16
Finals (2): 2012-13
Centennial Titles (2): 1995-2012

Key Returnees: Katie Safter, Jr, M, 3-3-9, 2nd team All-CC; Kendra Griesman, Soph, B, 1-1-3, 2nd team All-CC; Leanne Ludwick, Soph, F, 3-4-10; Skyler Ellenburg, Sr, M, 2-1-5; Lindsay Wytkind, Soph, B, 0-2-2; Anna Dekle, Sr, F, 3-1-7; Raina Fitzpatrick, Sr, M, 2-1-5; Sydney West, Jr, B, 0-3-3.
Key Losses: Abby Letts, B, 3-0-6, 2nd team All-CC; Kathy Prescott, GK, 0.60 GAA, 82.3 save pct, 2nd team All-CC; Kristen Fiore, F, 1-4-6.
Preseason Poll Projection: 5th
Outlook: The Fords returned to the CC playoffs for the first time in three years but were ousted in the first round in penalties. Haverford wants more in 2017 and returns a balanced attack. Ludwick led the team in scoring as a rookie, while Safter, a second-team All-CC pick, and Dekle shared the team goal scoring lead. Ellenburg and Fitzpatrick are veteran midfielders, while Griesman, a second-team All-CC selection, Wytkind and West are experienced backliners. If the Fords find a keeper in camp, it could be another trip to the postseason for Haverford.

Kristen Hori, Johns Hopkins

Johns Hopkins
(17-3-2, 8-1 CC, d. McDaniel 3-1 in Centennial final, lost to Williams 2-1 in NCAA 3rd round)
Head Coach: Leo Weil (Maryland '67), 26th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | Statistics | Season Preview
All-Time Record: 357-112-36
Playoff Appearances (16): 2001-02-03-04-05-06-07-08-09-10-11-12-13-14-15-16
Finals (15): 2001-02-04-05-06-07-08-09-10-11-12-13-14-15-16
Centennial Titles (13): 1996-97-2002-05-06-07-08-09-10-11-13-15-16

Key Returnees: Kristen Hori, Jr, M, 5-3-13, HM All-CC; Bailey Monaco, Sr, F, 3-7-13, HM All-CC; Maggie Coulson, Soph, M, 5-3-13; Toni Abate, Jr, B; Sophie Murphy, Sr, M, 2-2-6; Kyla Persky, Jr, M; Thea Harvey-Brown, Sr, D; Bess Kitzmiller, Sr, GK, 83.3 save pct, 0.52 GAA.
Key Losses: Meg Van de Loo, F, 25-10-60, 1st team All-CC, Player of Year; Ana Bengoechea, M, 11-9-31, 1st team All-CC; Adrienne Johnson, B, 1-1-3, 1st team All-CC; Alyssa Morgan, F, 1-6-8; Clara Aranguren, GK, 0.52 GAA, 83.3 save pct.
Preseason Poll Projection: 1st
Outlook: The Blue Jays won their 13th Centennial championship last season but even with heavey losses to graduation, Hop looks to be loaded again. Hori and Monaco, a pair of All-CC honorable mention picks, headline the midfield and frontline, respectively. Coulson had a stellar rookie campaign and will be joined by Murphy and Persky in the middle of the field. Abate and Harvey-Brown lead the defense in front of Kitzmiller. The Jays have made 16 straight playoff appearances, winning 13 crowns. The Jays are the top dog until someone knocks them off.

Sarah McDonald, McDaniel

McDaniel
(18-3-1, 8-0-1 CC, lost to Johns Hopkins 3-1 in CC final, lost to Brandeis 1-0 in NCAA 3rd round)
Head Coach: Sandy Lagana (Bridgewater '04), 6th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | Statistics
All-Time Record: 245-248-26
Playoff Appearances (3): 2013-15-16
Finals (1): 2016
Centennial Titles (0)

Key Returnees: Kristen Upton, Sr, B, 4-0-8, 1st team All-CC; Sarah McDonald, Sr, GK, 84.3 save pct, 0.67 GAA, 1st team All-CC; Kirsten Gibson, Jr, F, 6-2-14, 2nd team All-CC; Marissa Funke, Jr, B, 2nd team All-CC; Katie Kirschenmann, Sr, F, 11-3-25, HM All-CC; Abby Keen, Sr, M, 5-3-13; Katie Clawson, Soph, F, 2-3-7; Allie Titus, Soph, F, 3-0-6; Rachel Engle, Jr, D.
Key Losses: Nicole Hill, M, 6-11-23, 1st team All-CC; Christina Wroblewski, M, 6-4-16, 1st team All-CC; Catherine Wroblewski, M; Jessica Beall, D.
Preseason Poll Projection: 2nd
Outlook: The Green Terror had a season to remember in 2016, reaching the Centennial final and the NCAA third round for the first time. A pair of first-team All-CC picks - Upton and McDonald - return in a quest to make more program history this fall. Funke and Engle are also veterans for a defense that allowed just 13 goals in 22 matches. Kirschenmann and Gibson earned All-CC honors up front and combined for 17-5-39. Clawson and Titus had strong rookie campaigns. McDaniel has the nucleus to return to the final again in 2017.

Casarah Morales, Muhlenberg

Muhlenberg
(6-7-3, 2-4-3 CC, 6th place)
Head Coach: Leslie Benintend (Cortland '92), 23rd season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | Statistics | Season Preview (8/31)
All-Time Record: 251-189-38
Playoff Appearances (10): 2001-02-03-04-06-08-09-12-13-14
Finals (2): 2001-03
Centennial Titles (3): 2000-01-03

Key Returnees: Casarah Morales, Soph, B, 1-0-2, 1st team All-CC, Rookie of the Year; Carly DeNigris, Sr, M, 1-4-6; Danni Steigerwald, Soph, F, 3-2-8; Makenzie O'Brien, Jr, B, 1-1-3; Alyssa Rose, Soph, M, 3-1-7; Sarah Hunter, Soph, M, 2-0-4; Madison Ingling, Soph, B; Karolyn Kawa, Soph, B, 0-1-1; Marissa D'Alessandro, Soph, GK, 87.1 save pct, 0.83 GAA.
Key Losses: Abby Lazofsky, F; Emily Jordan, F, 1-2-4.
Preseason Poll Projection: 6th
Outlook: The Mules allowed only 15 goals in 16 matches a year ago. Problem was that 'Berg only scored 15 as well. Muhlenberg's youth movement could pay off in 2017 as rookies played a major role last fall. Morales was named Centennial Rookie of the Year and headlines the backline, along with O'Brien and Ingling. D'Alessandro led the CC in save percentage and returns in goal. Steigerwald and Rose shared the team lead in goals (3) as freshmen, while classmate Hunter tallied twice. The Mules are trending upward and could contend for a playoff berth.

Hannah Lichtenstein, Swarthmore

Swarthmore
(15-4, 7-2 CC, lost to Johns Hopkins 3-1 in Centennial semifinal, lost to Amherst 4-2 in NCAA 2nd round)
Head Coach: Todd Anckaitis (Lafayette '95), 13th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | Statistics | Season Preview
All-Time Record: 271-311-44
Playoff Appearances (9): 2006-07-08-09-11-12-14-15-16
Finals (3): 2006-14-15
Centennial Titles (1): 2014

Key Returnees: Marin McCoy, Jr, F, 10-6-26, 1st team All-CC; Hannah Lichtenstein, Sr, F, 7-6-20, 1st team All-CC; Katie Dougherty, Sr, F, 7-4-18, 2nd team All-CC; Caroline Coats, Jr, B, 1-2-4, 2nd team All-CC; Melissa Curran, Jr, B, 2nd team All-CC; Sarah Hancock, Sr, M, 5-0-10; Yasmeen Namazie, Jr, D; Amy Shmoys, Jr, GK, 83.3 save pct, 0.70 GAA.
Key Losses: Caroline Khanna, M, 1-5-7, 1st team All-CC; Miranda Saldivar, M, 2nd team All-CC; Katherine Zavez, D.
Preseason Poll Projection: 3rd
Outlook: The Garnet just missed out on a third trip to the Conference final last season but is a threat to win it all in 2017. Swarthmore welcomes back 94.6 percent of its offense from a year ago, led by first-team All-CC picks McCoy and Lichtenstein. Dougherty was a second-team choice up front, while Hancock leads the midfield. Coats and Curran were All-CC selections in the backfield, while Shmoys had five shutouts in her nine starts. Swarthmore is loaded and may have to battle most with the weight of expectations.

Stephanie D'Angelo, Ursinus

Ursinus
(6-9-1, 3-6 CC, 7th place)
Head Coach: Aileen Ascolese (Rider '06), 1st season at Ursinus; 5th overall
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | Statistics | Season Preview
All-Time Record: 166-180-29
Playoff Appearances (8): 2003-04-05-06-07-10-14-15
Finals (1): 2007
Centennial Titles (0)

Key Returnees: Anna Budny, Sr, B, HM All-CC; Phoebe Shoap, Sr, B, 4-0-8; Mackenzie Groff, Jr, F, 2-2-6; Kendall Crouch, Sr, M, 2-0-4; Katie Bell, Sr, M, 2-0-4; Stephanie D'Angelo, Sr, D; Cailey Sanchez, Soph, M.
Key Losses: Jeannie Jasinski, M, 3-0-6, 2nd team All-CC; Erin Farrell, F, 6-5-17, HM All-CC; Courtney Sullivan, GK, 84.0 save pct, 1.23 GAA, HM All-CC; Kelly Rosen, D, 0-5-5; Lauren Verso, F, 3-0-3; Katie O'Shea, D.
Preseason Poll Projection: 8th
Outlook: The Bears missed out on the playoffs for the first time in three seasons and look to return to the postseason with a new coach. Shoap is the leading returning scorer and anchors a veteran backline that includes Budny, an All-CC selection, and D'Angelo. Crouch and Bell are the leaders of the midfield, while Sanchez had a strong rookie campaign. Groff is the scoring threat up front. Ursinus needs to find a keeper in camp. The Bears have question marks and may be a year away from championship contention.

Arianna Sabatino, Washington College

Washington College
(5-10-1, 0-9 CC, 10th place)
Head Coach: Tom Reilly (South Carolina '83), 1st season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | Statistics | Season Preview
All-Time Record: 73-228-20
Playoff Appearances (0)
Finals (0)
Centennial Titles (0)

Key Returnees: Arianna Sabatino, Jr, F, 7-1-15, HM All-CC; Olivia Sabatino, Jr, F, 5-6-16; Maia Duval, Soph, B, 0-2-2; Steph Scott, Sr, B, 4-0-8; Maribeth Harrington, Sr, M, 2-3-7; Lindsay Russell, Jr, M; Courtney Colbert, Jr, GK, 58.6 save pct, 2.22 GAA.
Key Losses: Laura Tocci, M, 0-3-3; Lis Parks, B, 0-3-3; Paige Cahoon, D; Erin Smedley, M.
Preseason Poll Projection: 10th
Outlook: The Shorewomen welcome a new coach as they look to turn the program in a winning direction. The Sabatino sisters combined for 12-7-31 last season and will lead the offense. Harrington and Russell are the headliners in the midfield, while Scott is a veteran back. Colbert returns in goal, but WAC must tighten up its defense that surrendered 36 goals a year ago. Washington College has not won a Centennial match since 2013 (0-26-3) but the program is poised for bigger things this fall.
