Allison Wolters went 2-0 last week, taking down a pair of regionally-ranked opponents to secure her 13th-straight singles win and approving to 15-3, 9-0 CC on the year. Wolters (No. 23 in Atlantic South) opened the week with a straight-set sweep of Johns Hopkins Sophia Strickland (No. 21 in Atlantic South) by scores of 6-4, 6-2 on Tuesday and followed with a 1-6, 7-5, 10-7 victory against Swarthmore's Emma Kasson (No. 18 Atlantic South) on Saturday.

Nicole Russo went a combined 4-0 through singles and doubles play last week. In singles, F&M's No. 2 dominated with a 6-0, 6-2 straight-set win against Gettysburg on Wednesday and a 6-0,6-1victory against Brun Mawr on Saturday. In doubles action, Russo teamed with Allison Wolters at No. 1 to go 2-0 with a combined 16-5 score. She has now won nine out of 10 singles matchups and nine-consecutive doubles contests.

Allison Wolters extended a nine-match winning streak in singles play with a pair of straight-set wins last week at the No. 1 position. She also teamed with Nicole Russo at No. 1 doubles for an 8-5 win against Dickinson and an 8-3 win against Haverford as the duo won their seventh-consecutive competition and improved to 5-0 in the Conference.
Women’s Tennis Player of the Week - April 3, 2017

Kassan was 3-0 last week as the 40th-ranked Garnet picked up a pair of conference victories. The freshman lefty dropped only four games at first singles, winning 6-2, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-1 versus Ursinus and Dickinson, respectively. Against the Red Devils, she teamed with Anna Scheibmeir for an 8-6 victory at first doubles.

Allison Wolters was particularly dominant in Franklin & Marshall's 9-0 shutout on Saturday that opened Centennial play against Ursinus. The sophomore No. 1 produced a 6-1, 6-1 straight-set result in singles and teamed with Nicole Russo at No. 1 doubles for an 8-0 blanking. The duo is ranked No. 7 in the region and No. 25 in the nation.
Women's Tennis Player of the Week - March 20, 2017

Rummelsburg had a perfect week, winning all three of her singles and all three doubles matches. She registered straight-set wins at No. 4 singles and dropped just seven games in three pro-sets at No. 2 doubles.
Women's Tennis Player of the Week - March 13, 2017

Bridgeton, N.J./Bishop Eustace Prep
Sorelle won all 10 of her matches (five singles, five doubles) during the Bears' spring break trip to Florida, with all five singles victories coming in straight sets. Sorelle is 17-1 this season, including a perfect 10-0 mark with junior Ariel Danizger at number two doubles. Sorelle is 12-0 in dual matches and is on a 16-match winning streak.
Women's Tennis Co-Players of the Week - March 6, 2017
Greta Koch, Jr, Haverford
Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing
Greta Koch won at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles against Alvernia University in the Fords' first match in Florida. Koch defeated the Crusaders' Cassandra Noray by a 6-3, 7-5 score. In doubles, she and teammate Abby Payson conceded just three games to the Alvernia pairing of Noray and Amanda Philips.
Julie Lazer, Jr, Washington College
Owings Mills, Md./McDonogh School
Lazer won at both No. 1 singles and doubles in the #40 Shorewomen's season opening 7-2 win over St. Mary's on Saturday. She teamed with Rachel Martinez for an 8-0 win in doubles over Marissa Romanek and Melissa Barall. In singles, Lazer posted a 6-2, 6-4, win over Barall.
