Hopkins Edges Swarthmore for Women's Tennis Top Seed

Johns Hopkins edged Swarthmore 5-4 in Saturday's regular season finale to clinch the top seed in next week's Centennial Conference women's tennis championship. The Blue Jays (10-6, 9-0 CC) will take on the winner of Wednesday's first round matchup in Saturday's semifinals in Baltimore. 

Wednesday's first round matchup will feature fifth-seeded Washington College (11-6, 5-4 CC) at fourth-seeded Franklin & Marshall (7-7, 6-3 CC). The winner will take on JHU in Saturday's semis. 

Swarthmore (13-2, 8-1 CC) is the No. 2 seed and will host third-seeded Haverford (12-6, 7-2 CC) in Saturday's other semifinal. 

The two semifinal winners will meet in Baltimore for the title on Sunday.
