Women’s Track Athlete of the Week 2/19/18
Jennica Terry, Fr, Bryn Mawr College

This past weekend at the Keogh Invitational Freshman Jennica Terry broke her own school record in the 60 meter hurdles (9.21) and won the event. After her weekend performance she is now the top seed on the Centennial Conference performance list in the 60 meter hurdles. She also competed in the 60 meter dash and earned a second place finish (8.15). Her performance in the 60 meter dash will place her second on the Centennial Conference Performance list.

Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week 2/12/18

Therese Olshanski, Fr, Johns Hopkins
Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes

Olshanski set a new JHU freshman record with her 4:52.37 mile at the David Hemery Invitational at Boston University. The time is currently the third fastest time in Division III and the top time in the Centennial this season. 

 

 

Women’s Track Athlete of the Week 2/5/18

Nicole Giannetti, Sr, Haverford
Oyster Bay, N.Y./Oyster Bay

Nicole Giannetti ran the second fastest 5,000 meter race in program history as she placed fourth overall with a time of 17:25.94 at Tufts' Cupid Invitational. Due to the track size, that time converts to what would both have been school record mark of 17:17.99 and currently ranks her in the 17th and final qualifying spot in Division III.

 

Women’s Track Athlete of the Week 1/29/18

Amelia Keyser-Gibson, Sr, Haverford
Bainbridge, Wash./The Bush School

Amelia Keyser-Gibson won the mile at Haverford's McElligott Invitational on Saturday with a time of 5:06.47. That mark was over two full seconds faster than her closest competitor and helped the Fords place second as a team. That mark converts to 5:03.47 due to track size for NCAA qualification purposes and is the 13th fastest time in Division III this season.

 

Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week 1/22/18

Katie Sullivan, Sr, Haverford
Rutherford, N.J./Rutherford

Katie Sullivan won both the 800 meters (2:25.88) and mile (5:19.09) at the Collegeville Classic over the weekend. Sullivan best two of her teammates to take the 800 meter and was nearly two seconds faster than her closest competitor for Muhlenberg in the mile. Her 20 team points helped Haverford capture the team title

 

Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week 1/15/18

Yusrah Adebayo, Jr, Hurdles, McDaniel
Silver Spring, Md., Paint Branch

Adebayo won the 60 hurdles to lead McDaniel at the Coach I Open hosted by Franklin & Marshall on Saturday. She posted a time of 9.56 seconds after running a time of 9.51 seconds in the prelims to qualify with the best time in the field.

 

WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK 12/11/17

Taylor Murphy, Jr, Haverford College
Bedminster, N.J. / Bernards

Taylor Murphy won the 60 meter hurdles at the Haverford Holiday Invitational with a time of 9.30. She also won her section of the 200 meters, placing second overall in that event, along with a being a part of the second place 4x200 meter relay.

 

 

 

WOMEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK 12/4/17

Jen Beltran, Sr, Swarthmore College
Ontario, Calif./Chaffee

Beltran recorded the fastest 800-meter time in the Centennial Conference and second overall in Division III this season on Saturday. Her time of 2:21.11 (adjusted from 2:22.73) earned her second place at the Jack Pyrah Invitational.
